I missed yesterday in journalling, which probably is for the best, as not much happened to report on. I got up, the folks and I did the New York Times Sunday Crossword Puzzle, we listened to Weekend Edition, did laundry, and I got in the car and drove back to Wolfeboro.
Last evening? I watched about twelve straight hours of Behind the Music and surfed the Internet. It was the last day of vacation -- what do you expect, mm? So it was kind of a nothing day, the sort of day that rounds out a vacation pretty well, and then you go back to work the following day, which is where I am now. Things here are doing all right. All the large blue things came in while I was out (the PowerMac G3 Minitowers, the PowerMac G3 Servers, the PowerMac G3... er, monitors, and the three Blueberry iMacs for the Admissions office). Our entire front office looks like a 70's science fiction show right now. That being said, I love the Blue G3's. I really do. They look massively cool. I can't wait for next July, when I buy one (or one of whatever they put out next July. Perhaps they'll have them in Avocado or something). And apparently the people who are having their computers be replaced like them a very great deal. Mason stole the DVD of Highlander from my place, for "testing purposes" on the DVD-ROM drives. People are very impressed with the things. That's very cool. But then, they're cool computers. Otherwise? Well, there are two weeks and counting to D-Day, so we're pretty busy on this front. It's good to be back. And I feel nice and relaxed here, so....
Mason's back hurts, so we're deferring the Movie another day, though I need to take a run tonight and do some banking, and I may pick up another DVD afterwards. I like this DVD player thingy. It's very very cool. And that's all I have to say. Enjoy a bon bon. |
